idk why tf everyone uses Spotify or YouTube Music nowadays?? Like… what happened to just DRAGGING your fave tracks into a folder and vibing?? MP3 players are literally the hottest shit ever. No subscriptions. No ads. No random algorithm skipping your song mid cry. Just pure and beautiful you & your music energyyy
And you don’t even need an iPod or some overpriced bs. You can get a cute lil MP3 player for like 20 bucks, load that baby up with Alice in Chains, Linkin Park, 2pac or whatever your soul needs, and BOOM you’re free. No distractions. No notifications. Just vibes.
PLUS They’re *aesthetic*. Like carrying around your own little secret music world.
We need to bring this back guys. Let’s make music personal again and stop being soulless robots :(

this all the way!! Also a thing that always bothered me with phones is that they are wayy to big an heavy to walk around with in your pocket while you vibe to your music... mp3 players don't have that issue!! I'd also like to say that if you're looking for an mp3 or mp4 player, you probably should try to thrift an old one from a more reputable brand and stay away from new players by brands like lenco that you can find on amazon, since those are usually kinda crap lol (you don't need an ipod or any overpriced thing tho lol, sony walkmans for example are pretty good and they're usually pretty cheap on ebay since they aren't as "trendy" as ipods)

Mp3 players are literally the move. I have multiple iPods and they're so convenient and really add to the listening experience. especially when the information of tracks can be altered to whatever my heart desires.... Using DoubleDouble to download music is so easy as well even for my shite laptop. iTunes sucks super hard now because it has been neglected for so long but it's tolerable so I don't really care.

Fuck yeah!! I have an MP3 player I found somewhere around my house.
Despite downloading all the music I like nowadays, I can't use it because I have no PC and I have no idea how to transfer files without one
We should all download our music even if we have no MP3 players, because well, every phone has a local music files app so why use apps made by capitalist companies?
