I was always in the same school with my sister who's 2 years older than me since we were young. kindergarten, elementary, jhs and now high school. she never wanted to admit to anyone that I'm her younger sister and it makes me really sad 💔 like I'd approach her and joyfully say hi but she would respond by LOOKING AT ME WEIRDLY LIKE I'M SOME SORT OF FREAK 🥀🐺🫠 so emo
why does older siblings do this bro. I genuinely wanted to connect with her and I love her smh

my sisters 6 years older than me. shes starting college on the fall, meanwhile i just got done struggling with freshman year in hs. life just this way ig

Oh shoot!! I’m sorry!! I’m an older sister, and from what I can surmise, maybe she feels embarrassed around family???? I don’t get why though, is she like this when yall are alone?
she's not like that at home though :{ we rarely talk but she's pretty funny and doesn't avoid me as much as she does outside. I'm probably being too emotional

You aren’t too emotional for asking these questions, and I’m sure your feelings are valid. If she acts a bit better indoors, then she probably is just a bit embarrassed. As for why she is, I can’t give you a definitive answer for that.
Sadly, the only way to be sure of anything is to ask her yourself, but that can lead to something wrong if she isn’t the type to take a question like that well. Try showing her you care about her whenever you’re all indoors and deepen your bond with her there. Maybe, this is all maybe.
