moving to firefox

i am tired of google's non-stop AI rampage, especially with their new video model. I'm genuinely starting to feel as though art and writing and all these other fun things that I love to do are becoming redundant. I have a constant itch in the back of my brain telling me what the point in creating art is when a robot could do it for me in seconds, and I'm starting to believe it.

But other than an existential crisis over what it means to be human, I've been using the internet (i know right? shocker) and this dread has pushed me into using Firefox (using the DuckDuckGo search engine) as opposed to Google Chrome, just because I don't want to keep supporting a company that I despise so much, and yes, I know that me, a single person saying screw you to a multi-billion dollar company won't do anything, but I feel as though a part of me is at rest now.

The process of setting up Firefox was a breeze and I could import ALL of my data right over from google, meaning that I keep all my passwords, frequently visited sites and more. On top of that I feel bad for Mozilla as a company due to them needing to shut down various websites and other projects just to keep Firefox afloat.

TL;DR: I don't like generative AI, I switched to Firefox and now I feel better
