so manchild is now out on spotify, and apple music! its been out for a few minutes now, and my jaw is on the floor. its amazing! i cannot get enough of it. but now, i must give my post thoughts about it, and share if my predictions were right.
surprisingly, they were right in many different ways. with the genre, it definitely gave off busy woman vibes, but also gave off country vibes towards the end too. i was surprised that i was right with both of those predictions. and she executed it so well in the song! its like a transition you could barely even notice. it was that smooth of a transition.
next, the lyrics. she used "hey men!" and "amen" together, usually after the chorus, so i was right about those being lyrics. i believe i heard the other lyric; "i swear they choose me, im not choosing them" but i'm not too sure about that. i'll have to listen back on it to see.
overall, the song is definitely one of my favorites. i do have one final prediction, though. looking back at espresso, it was put into an album that matched the genre of the song pretty well. my final theory on this song is that it'll probably be put into either a country, or some type of retro themed album, because that song had some retro nature in it.
but yeah, thats all i have about manchild! if you guys like these blogs, i may do some more on sabrina carpenter, maybe going back to short n' sweet, and share my thoughts about it.
