real. not to bring up the accursed Amino but at least being on that site when I was 14 meant I was talking to people! Nowadays social media just feels like an entirely selfish and personal endeavor mostly scrolling videos and images from people you barely even know if at all... i never feel like I'm actually connecting with anyone
i agree. social media has just become a scope into other peoples lives without knowing them and without interacting with them. People thrive when they have a community! and that is becoming rare on "social" websites unfortunately

I feel the same way tbh, there's the occasional time my friends wanna do stuff or send me messages but that's few and far between tbh. Maybe we'll have better luck on here, eh?
seriously! i try to play games with friends online but i've found that for the most part, i'm just someone who likes to game alone. Being online used to mean being social but that changed some time ago now. So with that said, I hope to meet people on here who like to converse and bring back conversations!

I'm sure you will! Haven't been here that long but from what I've seen, a lot of folks on here like to chat. That's what drew me to it, actually. Seems like modern social media is just everyone in their own corners and they don't like interacting with those outside their circles, but this site is different.
As for gaming, I feel ya there, everything is just too competitive these days, and that's coming from someone who used to play a lot of BO2 multiplayer lmao. These days I prefer long story games with lots of content to keep me invested but I still long for a genuinely fun multiplayer experience from time to time.
