First Blog !
I wondered if it would help to keep track of my sleep paralysis experiences and hallucinations for anyone who is curious.
The first experience I ever had was one night, 2 or 3 years ago, where I was fighting sleep and severely sleep deprived. I was on my phone or something and out of nowhere i 'fell' into sleep. I say that because the sensation is so strange and really feels as though you're falling or getting sucked into something. As I lay there unable to move I began to have the sensation that i was floating and spinning slowly. My head felt like pins and needles.Once that wore off I was too afraid to sleep and frantically googled what it could have been. I even stayed home from school the next day because I thought I was dying.
The next time I can remember i experienced my first visual hallucination. As i lie in bed one night I realised that i was stuck and my breathing was somehow stunted. My window is directly opposite my bed and i noticed a shadowy figure on my curtain as if there was a man stood calmly on my window sill with a blinding light behind him, casting a shadow on my curtain. Soon after, I could move again but there was nothing there.
Another hallucination I had was on christmas morning about 2 years ago. I was asleep, on my right side and suddenly i realised i could see my wall infront of me and could not turn around at all to the door behind me. As i grew scared i heard someone walk into my bedroom, playing a strange sound. Since it was christmas, i partially thought it was just my mother coming to wake me up and that the strange noise was just a video playing on her phone. As the presence got closer, I could hear more clearly thar it was talking but in a strange language that i couldnt understand. It sounded like a foreign radio. Not soon after, I felt some kind of pressure on my side as if somehtinh was leaning over me and caught a glimpse of something white ( i cant remember why but at the time i assumed it was a dress).
Once I was able to move again i quicly turned to see no one there and my door cracked slightly. I checked the time on my phone and it was only 4am so everyone in my house would have been asleep still.
I have more stories but this will do for now ! If you have read this far, thank you.
