Temples of Masters: Mount Draco

Players are teleported to the lobby at the end of chapter 7.

Server:

“The following is a non-canon chapter.”

“This means that the current chapter does not take place in the actual storyline.”

“Or take place in the timeline either.”

“It basically didn’t happen.”

“This is Temples of Masters.”

“Mount Draco.”

 A cutscene plays, showing “You” in the throne room.

”You”:

“It feels good to be back!”

“…You look nervous, King.”

King:

“I’ve received very bad news from the masters.”

“It seems that Baller has gone missing.”

“I’m also unable to track down his location.”

“You”:

“Will I have to destroy more generators?”

King:

“It seems likely that it’s not the Darkin this time, but I’m worried it might be someone else.”

“There is one place in Draco that is so far from my castle that not even my magic can reach.”

“Mount Draco, the tallest mountain of this land.”

“You”:

“That mission sounds incredibly difficult!”

“Are you sure I can do this by myself?”

King:

“We’ll see!”

“You”:

“…”

King:

“Anyways, remember to equip your fire mysteliates! Mount Draco is known for its extremely cold climate.”

“Remember, your one objective: retrieve Baller.”

“Good luck!”

”You” is teleported to a path on the mountain. On the path, there are small curved hills that seem to be blocking some snow. On the summit, there is a visible statue holding a sphere and aiming it to the sky. Under it is an entrance to a cave.

“You”:

“I see a statue up ahead. I should check it out!”

As “You” progresses, snow-themed enemies start forming out of the ground.

“You”:

“Careful!”

The first avalanche happens.

After surviving the first avalanche:

“You”:

“Phew!”

After players successfully avoid the avalanche, they are to destroy the first barrier, while defeating enemies.

First barrier is destroyed.

“You”:

“Getting closer!”

Enemies get stronger as the players climb further up.

Second avalanche happens, second barrier is destroyed.

“You”:

“Just a little bit more.”

Third avalanche happens, third barrier is destroyed.

“You”:

“Yes, I made it! Hopefully I’ll find Baller here.”

As the players go past the statue, a cutscene triggers.

“You” is walking towards the cave, but suddenly stops when hearing a voice.

???:

“Stop where you are!”

The master of snowballs rushes out of the cave and blocks the entrance path.

“You”:

“Who are you?”

???:

“I’m the one who was meant to be serving King among the masters!”

“You”:

“Er… that doesn’t really say much…”

Snowballer:

“…Snowballer.”

“You”:

“Oh! So like, why aren’t you?”

Snowballer:

“I got last place in the fight! LAST. PLACE.”

“You”:

“I mean, that didn’t stop me. I didn’t even compete and I’m serving King.”

Snowballer:

“That’s the thing! That’s unfair!”

“It’s been three whole years since the fight and now that you’re here, I can use this victory as proof that I got stronger!”

“Get your weapon out and FIGHT ME!”

Snowballer grabs a snowball and runs towards “You”. The cutscene ends and the fight begins.

Phase 2 is activated once Snowballer is down to 50% health.

Snowballer:

“I still have a chance!”

“You”:

“OW! Rocks?! Seriously?!”

When Snowballer is defeated, a cutscene triggers.

“You” is looking down on Snowballer, who is laying down with his face to the ground.

Snowballer:

“Urgh, This is it. <:(”

“You”:

“Aw, don’t be so sad! I’m sure we can figure something out!”

Snowballer:

“I… don’t think the King will be willing to… just take me in like that after today.”

“I mean… I literally took one of his top masters, THE Baller! And hurt his favourite one.”

“You”:

“Woah, I’m not a master!”

“It feels nice to be called “King’s favourite master” though. :)”

Snowballer:

“You’re not? Aw… That makes sense now.”

“You”:

“Hey wait! You said you were the one who kidnapped Baller? Where is he?”

Snowballer:

“In the cave.”

“You”:

“Alrighty, thank you!”

“You” steps inside the cave to see Baller sitting in a relaxed pose, with a grin on his face .

“You”:

“…What?”

Baller:

“Surprise! That was part of your training! :D”

“You”:

“How come didn’t King know about this?”

Baller:

“I was just running up this hill until I saw Snowballer, then I got curious to see you battle a master with ACTUAL killing intent.”

“You know, just to make things more interesting around here!”

“You”:

“You willingly stayed here all this time just to see me fight someone?”

Baller:

“Hey, put yourself in my shoes!”

“Unlike King, I don't have any maAaAagical vision to see where you are.”

“I wanted to see how you ACTUALLY battle your foes!”

“Plus, I’m sure no one died, right?”

“You”:

“Well, yeah! But-”

Baller:

“See! So chill!”

“Let’s just climb down the mountain.”

“King will be able to teleport us back once we reach a certain altitude here.”

“You”:

“Sure.”

…

“You know, I feel kind of bad for Snowballer though.”
“I, for one, think his defenses for this place are pretty impressive!”
“Do you think we could convince King to let him join?”

Baller:

“Hm, we’ll see.”

Server:

“Temples of Masters [Complete]: Mount Draco.”

“Second Area: […] ”
