What is Boss Fighting Stages?

Hello, everyone!

(I'll be spoiling the game on a surface level (and mentioning major spoilers for true nostalgia revived 1's final boss). Beware, just in case!)

It was 2022. The meme "stop posting about baller" suddenly got very popular. Some hated it and up to this day still find it annoying, some thought it was pretty funny, some... didn't care (reasonable), however, a fun fact people might've not known about is that thanks to it, we're still getting updates to BFS!

Baller (or the Baller Master) is one of the major characters from the game Boss Fighting Stages, which is on roblox. It's about choosing one class out of four, which all give the player different kinds of weapons (the Baller (dodgeball), the Piercer (bow), the Crusher (hammer), and the Slicer (sword)), and using them to defeat waves of enemies, which get progressively more powerful, until you fight a boss at the end of them.

It's a simple concept, really, however what really made me interested in the game are the characters and story! My favourite characters are definitely "You" ("You" is the name of the character we play as that's also an independent character in the story) and Soul SazErenos, who is THE most difficult boss in the game (at least before the release of the 1.7 update). They're both polar opposites: "You" being an upbeat and powerful character, striving to fight in the King's name to protect himself and others from the Darkin. Soul SazErenos, on the other hand, being a serious and strategic entity seeking destruction, making sure neither the King, Darkin nor the true controller of the spiritual plane stand in his way.

What I like most about the story is how easy it is to write for it! For example, at the end of chapter 7 (the last canon chapter for the story as of... well... probably around a decade ago <:( ) the server announces that the following chapters are not canon and we begin going through them. I've already written my own non-canon chapter with an OC I made. It's super easy to do because of the simple formula that all of them use (of course, you can add your own flair to it, just like I did), which becomes recogniseable once you play through some of the non-canon chapters.

I won't lie, the actual story in the game is... quite lengthy and can be flawed in some spaces, but I forgive it since the game is from 2013 and the devs are working on a revamp with Draco Rock Uprising/ BFS rebirth+ which, frankly, I'm SUPER excited for! Oh, and I also EAT UP all of the fancy terms that are used in the lore... Chapter 7, despite the unskippable 13 minute cutscene, is probably my favourite one purely because of the giant lore drop!

If someone is willing to check it out but is nervous about being a new player, no worries! The community is very kind and welcome towards new players, trust me! I'm also totally willing to play with anyone now that my summer break is starting in a month. Don't be shy, guys!!!
