my music taste is so ass

i was originally gonna post this as a bulletin but it ended up being a little long. so im posting it here instead as... my first blog. and its me hating myself. pretty in-character. eh whatever we ball

so yall know that one album display layout that everyone on here uses right? yeah i really wanted to add it to my profile but as i was looking for my favorite albums to add i came to a HORRIBLE TERRIFYING REALIZATION... my music taste (outside of weebshit ofc) is SO BORING! most of my favorite albums happen to be really popular on rateyourmusic. thats terrifying. theyre really good albums that i genuinely like and didnt listen to just so i could fit in but could you imagine having your taste being pure rymcore. doesnt help that i used to be a huge nerd who would use that site all the time... its a really stupid thing to be upset about but MAN im lame. even my favorite radiohead album (by a band that has been dear to me for quite a while and also just my favorite album ever really) is fucking ok computer. that used to be the number 1 highest rated album on that site for a full decade before it got overtaken by tpab!! and unfortunately i do not really have the motivation to expand my music taste very much at the moment... maybe one day i will either Stop caring about how im perceived or lock in and get good taste. who knows? for now im content with listening to rock music by fictional women anyways. this is just a stream of (self-)consciousness
