a duck, pt 1

mommy duck taught her baby how to swim. 

"kick those legs, and your webbed toes will help!"

but her baby struggled. her toes were not webbed. she struggled to keep up.

"mommy, please slow down."

"no! this is embarressing! all the other ducklings are fast! why aren't you?"

baby duck cried, and cried, and cried. "I'm sorry mommy! please i'll be faster! "

she tried to swim as fast as she could, but mommy left her behind. 

then one day, a dog found baby duck sitting on the shore of the river.
