Privileged State (Terrible Poetry)

Now that I live in a suburban state.
I got everything I need and everything unlimited
Sometimes the conditioned air got me freezing cold
It's not a breeze, it's frostbite unfold.

I miss my old lovely home, where we used to live
I'm brokenhearted, full of privilege.
It's true, but full of empathy.
I love seeing broke people happy.
Happiness finds its truth.

Although I wasn't growing up to be privileged
It just happened, unnoticed
A part of me can never change its ways
The mother's struggle when I see her face

Terrible advice given, as the old saying goes:
"The more you're comfortable, the more the pain you'll endure."
"And the more pain you feel, the comfort becomes real."

Technically, it's not true... Pain is everywhere, and Comfort seeks itself.
