One Day When He Wakes Up

       Every summer since I was 17, I've babysat my two little cousins, Gavin and Jace, until school is back in session. They have loved me and thought of me as the coolest thing ever since the second they were born. Jace is 6 years old now. He's nothing but sunshine and rainbows. This year, Gavin is 9 years old and angsty. I was sad about him turning nine for some reason I could not place. I think I worry that one day he will wake up and realize I'm not cool anymore. 
So since then, I've been trying my best to make every summer more memorable than the last. Last year, I took pictures with them every day to commemorate all the fun they had. I always try to keep them included and feeling loved. I hope that one day, when Gavin wakes up and thinks I'm not cool anymore, he'll look at those pictures and notice that I always tried my best to be the coolest I could be.
