Video game piracy has gotten more and more popular over the years with torrenting starting to become REALLY common knowledge. However, has anyone else noticed how almost every game now is starting to add Denuvo? If you dont know, denuvo prevents piracy on games or atleast makes it nearly impossible to crack without any consequences. Soo many new releases are adding this to their titles like hello kitty island adventure and even OLDER stuff like Sonic Mania updated to add denuvo. That means the only way to crack sonic mania is to play the switch version on a emulator which are ALSO being taken down. I dont want to sound dramatic but perhaps in some years video game piracy will completely die?

we need queen to return, all these denuvo games and no one to crack them.

Did they really add Denuvo to Sonic Mania? After just re-downloading the game, I still have access to the RSDK file if I wanted to run it in a RSDK decomp.

Really? This is worse that you think by the way. These companies are paying for the service of adding Denuvo to the games which makes our games more expensive. If they just allowed us to use games how we want, we wouldn't need to be paying the Denuvo tax that makes our games worse.

Even if ant-piracy technology is getting better and better, hackers are getting more tools to piracy things (and finding creative ways to bypass these systems)... It's kinda impossible to something be 100% secure from piracy(even if it takes years to crack it). So no, piracy is not going to "die".
Everytime some big technology against piracy comes out(and people are afraid that software piracy is over), somehow these fucking dedicated hackers are already finding ways to trick the program.
Messing with Denuvo is kinda risk, takes a lot more time than a more "basic" DRM(Digital Rights Management), but it's totally possible...
