Does fake sugar make it so u can't taste real sugar for a lil bit???

Is it just me or does fake sugar make it so you can't taste real sugar. By fake sugar I mean the stuff in monster energy. Like I drank a monster than I drank a cokeacola and the cokeacola didn't taste sweet at all for a few minutes. Idk am I just crazy 😭
