break the glitch

ok so like. hear me out. what if this whole thing is a simulation and it’s just gotten… lazy. like the devs are asleep at the wheel. same 3 weather settings, same 6 types of ppl, same 2 anxiety dreams on loop. every time i try to do something slightly different the universe just throws up a lil 404 error like “uhh we weren’t expecting you to open a grilled cheese stand at 2am, pls go back to scrolling TikTok and doubting urself.”

and i was gonna be normal about it. like, i tried. i did the schedules and the skincare and the replying-to-emails-before-decay-sets-in. but honestly?? being normal is so exhausting and weirdly glitchy in its own way. like half the time i’m pretending i care about spreadsheets and the other half i’m googling “can plants sense my vibes” with tears in my eyes.

so now my new religion is this: be the change you want to see in life. like, fully commit to it. be the person in the npc crowd who starts beatboxing for no reason. be the error message that makes the whole system crash. wear socks with little shrimp on them. say “meow” when ur sad. scream-sing a song that only exists in ur head. drink coffee out of a wine glass. fake a British accent at the dentist. tell someone u think they have wizard energy. it does not matter. nothing matters. that’s the point.

like imagine someone’s just running their lil simulation life — wake up, scroll, cry in Target, repeat — and then they meet u, the chaotic lil gremlin who asks if trees get tired of standing up. u are the plot twist. u are the unexpected side quest. u are the reason someone logs back in just to see what happens next.

and if ppl look at u weird?? GOOD. that means the matrix noticed. that means u left a dent. ur code didn’t match the template and that’s beautiful. that’s power. that’s a rebellion with glitter and frogs and slightly burnt toast.

so anyway. i’m off to go compliment a lamp and maybe legally change my name to “????”. join me if u dare. the glitch is calling.
