One key thing to playing a character is their importance of their strings. Looking at Bryan's move list made me realize that I was right in one aspect; strings are important to the success of a character. Bryan's strings such as (1,2,3~  or 1,4,2,1,4~) are minus on block starting at -0 and into -9 but he benefits from a CH that then combo's into over 60-70 damage. (Not including in rage, snakes eyes, or at wall combos/ environmental explosions or walls) . This doesn't include any plus on block CH tools like B+1 or +0 UF4 orbital that low crushes (and some mids) into yet another devastating combo. The point is, Bryan is not alone in this. Characters like Dragonov, Jin, Law, and others have this ability of using strings that start off the same (2 jab sequence into another high, mid, low, or grab) that benefits from those who don't understand these strings and the reward becomes a highly damaging combo into another mix up. As an example, Jin's 1,2 into 4 or 4.4 string that can catch opponent's off guard if they press after the 2 jab. The CH lands them on the ground which then Jin can follow up with a F N DF+1 guaranteed. Players especially suffer from Jin's simple but very effective strings. Even at a higher rank, it can catch others by surprise if they finish the string, and if the Jin player fights safely, they'll use their pressure tools to keep themselves at a advantage.
