wet specimen collection

I've been STRUGGLING with images on blogposts, but I think I've worked it out now. And with that, I want to show off my tiny collection of wet specimen and few other animals. My collection is so far small, but it is slowly growing :)

So, the wet specimen I got from my friend on my birthday a few months ago. It was apparantly just a guy in the farthest corner of the city who had made them himself and wanted to get rid of them because he'd made better ones lmao. Therefore I am not entirely sure they're correctly made, but they're still cool as fuck. Literally best birthday present ever?!?!

I have five. The turd is called Ursula, the baby bat is called Wolverine, the little bird is called Deadpool, the snake is called Sam and the little mouse is called skippy. Can you tell I am a nerd? The snake unfortunately has a bit of breakage, but still cute. 

Next up, we have my Hawk, Hawkins. Such a beauty. 

Then at last, we have my antlers, I think they're called? I found it in the thrift store the other day. There were four other antlers but a lot of them were very fragile. On the backside it says that it was shot in Molln Ramsau (which the internet tells me is in Austria) in 1965. It is a Roe deer from what I can tell, which I've named Aspasia. 

Anyways, that is my collection so far :) I wanna try making my own wet specimen someday as I am very fascinated by the concept, but it is definetely something that is for the distant future as I don't have all the knowlegde or materials for it right now.
