I was just trying to help

I wanted to talk about something that's been bothering me for a while now, the fact that when I meet new peoples who wants to get into the emo subculture and who are new to this world i'm always available to help them since I'm emo for 8 years now and I have more experience 

on May 26th while I was going back to class with my friends, a first year girl was dressed emo, and my eyes lit up and I was excited and went to ask her for the instagram even if I was very shy XD

when school was over and i was taking the bus i texted her and we started chatting, i asked her what her style was and she said she likes goth and emo but mostly emo.

i was SO HAPPY that i didn't believe it and knowing she was new to the emo world i asked her if she liked it if she wanted help and she said that she would be very grateful

she started talking to me about how she had to redye her blue locks but she only had pink so I sent her some good inspiration

everything was going well when she started complaying that she had no money and that she was ""poor"" because she couldn't afford alternative clothes and that her mother doesn't approve of her being like that

I suggested DIY or using clothes that she had at home and to ignore her mom and be herself

after that I sent her some brands of clothes on amazon like Skelanimals,Cupcakecult,Emily the Strange etc.. and also said to buy sum band shirts

she kept saying the same things over and over.. (I was getting annoyed ngl..)

of course then I told her that u don't have to be rich to be emo and that the only important thing is that she listens to the music and has the emo hairstyle, I added that the clothes arrive MUCH later

after I said that she started saying "bro, that's not true" in a rude way.. and that's when I got... kinda shocked..and mad :/

and she said things like :

"sorry but I can't approach this style right now"

"I don't think I'll do anything, no offense"

"as much as I like the style I'm not sure I'll do this thing"

"I like my clothes and my hair too" (she's ""scared"" to change her hair and her clothes)

"yes but I don't want anyone to tell me how to dress, I'm not five years old"

"sorry but I don't think I'll listen to ur advice, I'll stay more on the casual"

I forgot to mention that she told me that she have "emo scars"

I was SHOCKED like... why do u have to say something PERSONAL to someone u don't even KNOW!? like...girl that's not a flex that u hurt urself.. (she rlly flexed it, no jk)

this girl think being emo is just a STYLE and she thinks that being emo is to hurt themselfs and be like RAWR XD yk? she got SO mad when I helped her and saying that she only need to listen to music and have the emo haircut

like girl- THAT'S THE FIRST THING U NEED TO DO!! she's a DAMN POSEERRRR!!!!! (I blocked her at the end :))

I want to be clear that I am VERY OPEN to lend a hand and help and give them everything they need and I immediately go after the new emo kids who are very disoriented in this world and subculture and afraid of being judged, but when they start to flex and treat me badly and telling me that I say untrue things when literally I have more experience than them, I will block them immediately and call them posers because that's what they are, being alt is not just a style but it's about music and expressing urself being safe around ur peoples and at home, and to also ignore about the judgments of ignorant peoples, and also respecting others and those around u, not to be cool,edgy and flex and treat others like shit just because they got a t-shirt or something for low buck because not everyone can afford expensive things, or insult others for how they look like(body,face,skin color, ecc...) because it makes u a poser

and also another girl (always a first year) wanted to be emo and I gived her everything and thanked me and I waited for her to take my advice and she stay basic.. and even talk shit behind my back saying that the emo style is old fashion and insulting me when I was just helping her..

honestly i'm the only real emo where i am

in italy there are people who know NOTHING about being emo and being scene and honestly they should get informed about it... before talk and insult others because it will makes u pathetic and u will get embarrassed of urself
