It’s concerning how schoolers’ performances are literally growing worse by the year.
I just watched a video about how gen alpha can’t read and it’s so concerning..! You know what’s concerning about that? (Obviously everything but) The worst are the parents, shaping their kids into these failures, enabling them and borderline encouraging them.
I’m a freshman and some of my classmates don’t know how to read without stuttering. Others are busy hanging at parties or in night clubs. One of my classmates has a scooter, vapes, dugs herself and has an average of 4/20 in all of her classes (don’t ask me how I know, I just heard it.) Those same classmates that don’t have basic skills even though were entering high school next year (bc I love in France and here freshman class is still middle school) are those who’s parents allow anything and everything, it’s just sad.
Millenials need to fix themselves, I know life is hard but letting your child go wrong won’t bring you anything.
Like every year I see my classmates complaining about classes and how hard it is, some of my teachers gave up, and the worse is that I’m giving the stink eye to all of my classmates, but all of my teachers agree that we’re the last decent class because the younger students are even worse, can’t read borderline at ALL, can’t focus, and teachers explanations sounds like gibberish to them because they’re constantly used to gen Z/Alpha slangs, the type of slangs normal people use ONLY on social media
My art teacher is so fed up with the student’s performances that’s he’s considering quitting to go teach in high school instead (art school is mandatory in middle school but becomes an option in high school), he’s super chill and only asks us to be creative in a topic and students aren’t even trying anymore, it’s just so sad
