Thinking about starting an art booth for the first time. Should I do it?

When there was an event at my school, I saw my friend in an art booth, so I asked them why they were in a booth. They said they joined with their classmate to sell stickers and other stuff, and I was like "OMG That's so coollll" and I asked them if I could help to cut the stickers out, they said yes, of course. So yeah, I spent some merch from other booths, including my friends' booth. After the event, I thought about it for a while and considered joining them to sell stuff at future events. Of course I wanna start small, y'know? Stickers and maybe pins, but I don't know where to start, like which fandoms are famous? Should I make stickers about famous fandoms or the fandoms I'm in? Should I do it? Help me pls?  o(TヘTo) o(TヘTo)

you could do music (what music artists are popular), some of your own artwork, or references to books/movies. I had to do pin making last year for my leadership class, and we mostly just did trending music artists of every genre because that was the most popular thing we sold

The way I see it is that you can create much more personal and meaningful products if you are a fan of that subject. In-jokes or quotes from that media that other fans will understand is way better than just a sticker of some guy you know nothing about. Especially with niche fandoms when people who are also in that fandom see your merch they'd probably be really happy that other people know the same series or book, etc.
If all else fails you could obviously "sell out" and lean into what is more popular at the time.
