KIOF - Julie's apology.

Recently, Kiss of life's Julie has made an apology for cultural appropriation during an Instagram Live.

If you don't already know, Kiss of life has been getting a lot of hate for allegedly being racist during Julie's birthday live. I will not be explaining it in detail because I personally have not watched the full birthday live and I do not want to assume things because of stuff the internet has told me. If you want to know the situation in full detail I would recommend going on YouTube and finding a video explaining it (Search something like 'Kiss of life Julie birthday live').

Personally, I think Julie's apology seemed genuine, and unlike the company's apology, she actually addressed what she did wrong and promised to be better. Many people are finding her apology to not be genuine and think that she's only saying these things, so her and her group don't continue to get hate. I myself think that she truly is apologising on behalf of her whole group. 

She didn't put any excuses, there weren't any fake tears, and she addressed the problem directly. She told us how they are trying to educate themselves. Apologised to the Black and Latina community. This apology actually seems pretty genuine, and I hope they will never do a similar mistake in future.

I do not blame anyone for not believing her apology, the timing is certainty a bit odd- with their comeback soon, but i hope people will stop with the backlash, atleast until something like this happens again.
