May thirty-first

On the first of May I moved along with my mom and youngest sister. It was a very busy day. I remember the temperature outside being really warm. It felt similar to a summer day. A couple of days beforehand we were packing up things. I went to buy duct tape from the grocery store. Actually I asked people who worked inside the store for boxes. They were stocking up on the shelves. I was walking by the paper towel aisle. I was able to get seven big sized boxes. There were quite a few boxes and several bags for the move. Mainly my things were in storage. Although I had other important things at my oldest sister's house. It felt great taking my things out of storage. It was a big deal for me knowing all of my things are with me again. There were times when I didn't think a day would come to this. I know it sounds a bit outrageous. Then again I thought okay at least it wasn't going to be another eight years. I'm referring to most of my items being in storage. Originally there were three different storage locations throughout the years. I'm very happy that the time period is over. The weather was very warm outside while moving. It made it easier than dealing with rain. My oldest sister went to get the uhaul truck for us. She helped us move our things from the storage unit. My nephew also helped with the move. The bins which mostly contained my journals and poetry folders were very heavy. Twenty four years of my work to be specific. After the move we went to the store to get a few things. Instead of cooking we went to chick fil a for dinner. I ordered chicken tenders with waffle fries. I had lemonade to drink that night. A few days later I had to assemble the room dressers. It was fairly easy given the instructions. I needed two dressers in my room plus a lot of clothes hangers. My oldest sister also helped with assembling our bed frames. Earlier that day the beds arrived by delivery. In another month or so I know everything will be organized in my room. I had a lot of unpacking to do. It's far from over I can say. A positive life change is another way to describe it as well. I have been reading a lot of my past writing work lately. It feels like a time machine in my mind by reading certain things. Most understand what I meant. I've gotten used to things and adapted rather quickly to home. After all this time I can say that. I'm cooking much more which isn't much of a change. I've always cooked before while living in different places. In another day from now I plan to go to the laundromat. I will have a lot to do. My youngest sister is also going along with me to the laundromat. I also have to braid my hair in a few days. That's easy to get done. I've been focusing on my site as well. There's plenty of work to get done with it. I believe in improvements over time about it. Mother's day twenty twenty five was great. I spent time with my mom and sisters. Although I am not yet a mother. All I can say for now is maybe. Despite that factor I'm optimistic about the possibility of me being a mother one day. There's quite a few other things I want to accomplish along the way as well. Over a week ago I noticed a cardinal bird near my window. There's a large tree nearby which is why I have a good view. I like hearing their songs and chirping. Also their vibrant red color is pretty neat to see. I've seen female cardinal birds and blue jay birds among other species of birds. I found it interesting since birds are nearly everywhere. I remember seeing a cardinal a few months ago at my oldest sister's house. I've always thought birds were interesting. I like many types of animals. I have another busy week ahead with things to do coming up. My brother has called us to ask how everything is going. My family has been doing okay. Today on May thirty first I went to the dollar tree and publix supermarket with my sisters and nephew. We arrived back at six pm. It was a good day. At this point it's almost summer. Twenty twenty five is half way done. I can say so far there have been positive changes. I also hope for the positive and best with everyone next month. Peace until next time.
