Gravity Falls OC

Hi my silly angel babies ₍ᐢ. .ᐢ₎ ₊˚⊹♡

I posted a bulletin earlier today and brought up my Gravity Falls self-insert/OC. I asked if anyone would want to see the art I did of her and maybe read some lore about her. The response was overwhelmingly positive, so here's my follow-up to that. 

I'd like to preface this entire blog entry and warn you that in the future, if I continue to post art, you'll have to keep in mind that my only real OCs are all the same self-insert but in different universes being that I'm an avid selfshipper. So if the response to this is nice, get ready to see the same gal quite a lot.

Anyway, without further ado... here's the girl.

OC Bio:

♡ Full name: Audrey Rose Clark
♡ Age: 24
♡ Birthday: June 27
♡ Height: 5'2"
♡ Eyes: Blue (I know they aren't in the drawing but it's hard to do colored eyes in the Gravity Falls style without it looking weird or demonic)
♡ Hair: Red

Lore:

♡ I stole this from Swooning Over Stans mostly but then tweaked it slightly.
♡ Post Gravity Falls season 2 canon. This takes place in the summer of 2013.
♡ Whilst attempting to travel home from a girls' trip with her friends in Portland, Audrey's car (pictured here)
broke down near what she came to discover was The Mystery Shack.
♡ She had seen the tourist trap signs littered around the dense forest she was driving through, and decided that she'd stop there and put her poor car out of its misery.
♡ Confused, very far from home, and wearing a pair of very unreliable yet cunty heels, Audrey trekked from her car on the side of a road with some tree cover all the way to The Mystery Shack, where she entered the gift shop to meet Wendy and Soos.
♡ Both were confused by her appearance. Why did she look like that. And why was she here of all place. She explained her problem to them, and they decided that the best thing to do was probably to grab Stan since he knew about cars and had done a lot of work on his own.
♡ Audrey was left to wait in the gift shop of The Mystery Shack for about 10 minutes while Wendy and Soos went to go get Stan. She was extremely out of place, and even the tourists were staring.
♡ Upon Stan's arrival to the gift shop, he was clearly expecting something very different. His annoyance at having to do work on his first summer as a retired man immediately faded into something else, and he was suddenly quite willing to help the young lady.
♡ After taking a quick look at Audrey's car, Stan decided he could fix it. However, it was in pretty bad shape and would take at least a few days, leaving Audrey stranded at The Shack.
♡ Stan offered her the storage closet with an air mattress as well as his services as far as fixing her car went as long as she worked in the gift shop for free. Given really no choice, Audrey agreed.

Fun Facts:

♡ Audrey smells like vanilla. She has an extensive body care routine including lotion, body powder, body glitter (yes, at all times), and perfume. Her specific scent is very sweet and light, kind of like unfrosted vanilla cake. Not at all overpowering.
♡ She is extremely high maintenance, and beyond her body routine she also has a facial skincare routine, does her own mani-pedis every week and wears makeup from day to day.
♡ She looks really mean but I promise she's not! She just has a resting bitch face. She's very much a girls girl and is quite bubbly and friendly when you break the ice on her surface.
♡ Audrey is Stan's controversially young girlfriend. You all saw this coming.
♡ Despite seeming like a gold digger, Audrey is actually the opposite. She likes material things just as much as anyone else, but grew up poor in Appalachia idolizing Dolly Parton. That's why she is the way she is.
♡ There's an opposites attract dynamic between Audrey and Stan, but they actually have a lot in common. Audrey has a mouth like a sailor and adores the aesthetics and music of the 1950s just like he does. She seems prim and proper and put together on the outside but she's very unpolished on the inside. She's pudgy, loves to eat, sassy, and she snorts when she laughs. Stan finds her endearing, and trusts her vulnerability. He finds he can let his guard down with her. She LOVES that. She loves every part of him, just the way he is. Absolutely no judgement.
♡ Audrey is practically best friends with Mabel. Her job in the gift shop quickly turned into two jobs when Mabel found out she was an artist as a side gig back home and literally begged her to give her drawing lessons. They bonded quickly over that and their love of bright colors, stickers, and glitter. They are best gal pals, and Mabel quickly crowned her 'Graunt Audrey', a title that Audrey does NOT take lightly.
♡ Dipper finds it odd that Audrey is dating Stan. He thinks it's kinda gross, but soon it grows on him when Audrey takes genuine interest in listening to what Dipper has to say. She's nice to him, and he relates to her love of pop music. In the future they will listen to much Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter together.
♡ Wendy and Soos grow to love Audrey, too. After a while she becomes enough of a permanent figure that everyone is comfortable with and her word sort of overrides Stan's. She's responsible but fair and understanding. She's like the mom friend who carries a big purse full of everything anyone could possibly need. She dispenses advice and womanly wisdom at will.
♡ She refuses to wear any pajamas other than things like this. 

♡ Audrey is not on the greatest terms with Ford. Once, after a particularly bad nightmare, Stan told her everything about their childhood and what happened between them. Since, and on top of her own personal experiences with Ford being a little too cold for her liking, she's not very fond of him. She keeps her mouth shut for Stan's benefit because that's his brother and he loves him and he swears it's all in the past, but she'd at the very least attempt to fight Ford for Stan's honor if it came down to it.
♡ Despite having similar hair, Audrey is not related at all to Wendy. They both just happen to be redheads. I get this a lot when I post art of her.
♡ Audrey has no relation to Pacifica either. Audrey's chic fashion sense seem expensive and people in town assume she has some relation to the Northwest family. She does not. Since Weirdmageddon, though, Pacifica has joined Mabel's friend group and often hangs out with them and Audrey on "girls days" in town. 
♡ Audrey is a pretty stellar baker which means there's almost always some kind of sweet treat in the house. Her favorite is angel food cake, chocolate chip pound cake, sugar cookies, and vanilla cupcakes.
♡ Audrey is almost always "done up". Very rarely will you see her not looking her best. The only time the Pines family saw her look bad was when she caught the flu. Not her proudest moment, though it amused Stan quite a bit.


That's about it I think lore wise for Audrey. Her basis is pretty much "I love my old man."
