saying “using” when adding a template

       okay, so i just made my account on spacehey yesterday and this is a stupid post. but i was customizing my profile, and looking into some templates. none of them looked that good so i ended up finding someone who had the bare minimum of customization and putting in some of my own code and photos. i found a few other things but by this time it was 5 am and i needed to sleep. but on almost every single one of them was one of two things — the creator saying “please comment if you use” or “PLEASE STOP COMMENTING ‘USING’ I DON’T CARE.” does it drive traffic to your profile, or boost your template up? if so, will i look like a bum if i say “comment if you’re using!” when i decide to supply the people of spacehey with my codes? 

this is a serious matter and i would appreciate some clarity on all of this commenting hubbub.
