DRAGON PARANOIA

We all know that strange feeling of being watched, or the feeling of paranoia and nervousness. Within the castle, many students have been taking time off after feeling overwhelming amounts of paranoia... but due to what exactly?

We’ve got no solid sources, aside from student reports and a gut feeling — but we do know that a few months ago, a short report came out about a small group of wizards using DRAGONS to spy on students! Have these spies come to our beloved Hogwarts?

There are lots of theories about what is happening, but dragons seem to be the main ones:

“I was visiting Hogwarts to share some poetry, when I heard a few students whispering about... dragons?” Says Merlin Mythos, a graduate who often comes to the school, sharing his poetry in Professor Tremaine-Martin’s Music class.

“I think this is completely ridiculous. I doubt dragons would be so easily trained and willing to be used for spying. And on top of that, I haven't seen any signs of any dragons around. No tracks, nothing burned, no claw marks- nothing!”

It makes sense... whoever was working with said dragons couldn’t possibly conceal everything about them right?

Well fifth year, Isa Charlotte, seemed to disagree. She spoke about hearing flapping and some sort of growling outside her window.

“I was just studying in my dorm, when I heard something that sounded like a bird's wings? I dunno what's going on, but I'm kinda freaked out! I’ve heard some things about dragons?” She’d said, mimicking a bird's wings with her arms.

If there are dragons spying on the school, what for? Is that even possible? We need answers! And so I spoke to the Care of Magical Creatures teacher, Professor Windsor, to hear her take on this.

“I guess in "theory" it's possible. However, it is extremely unlikely.” She’d said, explaining how dragons are untrainable and it’d be impossible to tame them enough to become spies.

“And besides, we don't really have a way of communicating with them and definitely not to the level that is required for sharing nuanced secrets.”

It seems like the probability of it being dragons is extremely low... but there are so many students who agree with Isa’s perspective.

Though there are many things it could be, if it is anything at all, I guess all we can say is keep an eye out! For what, I’m not sure... but be sure to keep your eyes peeled.
