Hitchhiker's Guide to the Gallaxy

I recently finished H2G2 and I have a few thoughts:

1. Why does literally no one talk about this??? For one of the most popular/significant piece of sci-fi of the 20th century you'd think more people would talk about it more

   There's no fanfiction, like, whatsoever (much less x reader or x oc);

   There's a miniseries by the BBC if I'm not wrong and no one mentions it!;

   There're two films, six books, inspired the name for "OK Computer" by Radiohead and their song Paranoid Android (aka literally one of the most soul crushing music masterpieces ever ever ever)

2. [And this strengthens my previous point] it's literally so fucking funny omg I died laughing, literally laughing out loud in the but reading it

3. It's so well written (well, I did read a translation but regardless)

4. Marvin is a mood

5. Arthur is a mood

6. Ford is a mood

7. Trillian is a mood - AND ALSO HUMAN

8. Zaphod's a mood - and fucking hilarious because wtf dude

    literally anything he does and says makes me go "wtf dude lmao"

Point is: It is one of the best books I ever read ever - and mind you, I've been reading since forever, I mostly read classic literature - it is perfect, it is beautiful and there is so much media to consume yum
