Well, poop.
I just popped over to Wamlrat to price out weed whackers. They have one for around $70, I thought that would be okay. But when I got there and checked...
It's an electric one, it only comes with one battery, and one set of string for the actual whacking. This is not acceptable. I also peeped a vid on YT about this model, it said the battery lasts about half an hour, didn't mention string life at all.
So I need another battery and more string for it, both at $25 a pop. So now my $70 is $120. Plus tax, and whatever protection plan they have. (It has a two year warranty, but if I spend over $100 on something I at least think about the protection plan) And now we're closer to $130, twice what I hoped to pay in the first place. Yay....
They have one for $45 but I'm not that dumb. :P
*sigh*
Cheaper food again this month...

i like the electric ones more even tho they gotta charge every half hour just bc they're lighter and quieter. easier to fix than gas too. I go around my neighborhood and mow lawns and stuff for my older neighbors for a coke or a lemonade lol the electric stuff is great bc its light and i can easily drag it up and down the street
