🌳 Black Walnut Trees and the Quiet Magic of Boundaries 🌰

Black walnut trees are wild. Not just because they’re beautiful, or because their wood is dark and lovely—but because they draw strong boundaries. Through a natural chemical called juglone, they gently say, “this space is mine.” And I think there’s something quietly powerful about that.

I’ve been learning to do the same with my art and music—carving out space, not by force, but by presence. I’m not here to push anyone out, just to grow deep roots and offer shade to whoever wants to sit under the branches for a while.
