i’m so pleased to have made some friends here that take interest to art and its history! being lucky enough to have connections with people with this same interest, i want to share some of what catches my eye. (and please, do the same)

i have many favorite themes and periods in art history... i love paintings of greek tragedy and myth. i love romantic, renaissance, and baroque paintings. i love impressionism. i love french paintings.

so, i’d like to share an entry dedicated to some work i’ve had the opportunity to visit (such as the mona lisa…) but for now, i’ve decided to share some of my favorite paintings with you here. this isn’t well-rounded but i want to at least share a small collection for now.
