Second entry ever!! I'm hoping to keep this up and see how it goes :) 

First off, some recent events. I've been so busy with work, and it's been very exhausting. In-between work I've been playing Stardew Valley and that's been a fun escape from the dreariness. Yesterday I was able to hang out with a friend, which was wonderful. They helped me repaint my nails since I've been wanting to do them for so long, so I got a base of periwinkle with white polka dots. I also got a Fender acoustic from their roommate because they're moving, and it's a great addition to my guitar collection as I only had a 3/4 scale acoustic before so it's good to have a full size one. I played guitar a lot today, so much so that my fingers are quite sore now.

I've been thinking about absurdism and existentialism recently, and the idea of finding the beauty in life through experience, and I think I can apply that to my personal life more. I was also talking with a friend about how many "useless" things society has manufactured, but I think that even if from a utilitarian lens something may have no practical use, if it can bring enjoyment and fulfillment then it is useful. To say that something is useless just because it has no practical use I think dismisses all of the arts when they are very important to society and culture. On another note, I've been missing having classes and I'm hopeful for fall semester; I have to keep up with my French studying over the summer and fall because I won't have a language class until spring most likely.
