Hiii, so you'll find lots of "soft motivation" advices if that's what you're looking for, I'm gonna give you what works for me and hope you don't mind if it's a bit harsh I'm just trying to be helpful <3
So basically, what works for me is to remember where I come from, I'm talking how much shit my parents had to go through, my grandparents, my brothers and sisters etc (if you're a child of immigrant you know what I mean) and to ask myself "did they really endure all that for me to be a lazy ass b**** right now ?"
And then, if that doesn't work, I'm forcing myself to imagine (and there's a lot of girls doing that on tiktok for example) my life if I don't get that stupid degree/job, whatever: I'm imagining not only my family being disappointed in me, but the threat of ending up living in the streets begging for money, maybe falling into addictions, in a disgusting apartment with a cheating violent husband and kids and not having the money to get out of here
I'm talking catastrophizing level 500, like really your biggest fears in life becoming real and then you realize it all depends on you rn moving your lazy ass and forcing yourself to study and get that degree or job whether or not you like it because it's literally survival + your best option <3
