Moon Knight and WandaVision

Yesterday, I bingewatched both Moon Knight and WandaVision due to the recommendation from my friend. Spoilers ahead, because I'll be talking about what I think about the shows.

Firstly, I thought Moon Knight was pretty good—although I don't know the accuracies of Marc having DID (as I don't have it myself), I thought that the unique more psychological/horror tone that the show had compared to other Marvel media was really cool. Oscar Isaac was very talented in showcasing distinct personalities and I genuinely could immerse myself in the idea that Steven and Marc were 2 different people. I see why people are looking forward to a second season, and I really hope the character can show up in future Marvel media.

Next, WandaVision. I also thought the show was really cool. I'm a pretty huge fan of media that distorts your reality, does fourth wall breaks, etc. (see Stanley Parable/Severance/DDLC) so the sitcom premise was very much up my alley. I loved seeing the stories connect from the outside to inside the sitcom (the beekeeper, the radio and the plane). However, one of my little pet peeves was the fact that Wanda didn't get as much repercussions as I thought she deserved after enslaving a whole town under her thoughts and power, and how she was almost always thought as a hero. To be honest, in the second half of the show, I was barely on her side (I wasn't on Agatha's side either, I just wanted Vision to be happy TT). But anyways, other than that, the premise of the show was very nice and executed well, I just wished the ending was a bit different.
