All About Sega's iDog (and other animals)

The iDog was an external speaker that would dance to the tune of your music! They were shipped worldwide in mid 2005 :p

This is the Rainbow Dalmatian model --> This version among many others were shipped out through Hasbro

This is the Sega version, also released in 2005, however, it was released before Hasbro.

These were available in Japan

Both have key differences. For example, Hasbro's release include paw pads, while the Sega release does not. Both releases have different light patterns and the Sega version has slightly smaller heads and arm joints.

There were other releases as well, such as the iCat (2006), iFish (2006), iCy (2006), and iTurtle (2009).

The iDog soft speaker was released in 2008. It runs the same programming just with plush instead of plastic!

The iDog series was unfortunately discontinued in 2009, only lasting 4 years. It had some other releases as well, such as the iDog Pup, iDog Dance, and mini iDogs in McDonald's happy meals! There's also countless designs for the iDogs.
