Some Poetry

I felt the need to present this on my blog as well as in a forum, in hopes to reach more people and get opinions on what I wrote and stuff.

 i have made some poems recently, one is DEFINITELY freeform and you can tell i was just kinda playing around, but the second one i challenged myself t a rhyme scheme

Poem#1- I Chugged An Entire Can Of DrPepper And Now My Tummy Hurts

In the dark

One emerges from the basement of despair

So resilient

Though their eyes hurt

It is the most beautiful sight

Who knew that just beyond the basement door

Full of decay, desolation, and wallow

There was blooming life

Stunning colors

And love as far as the eye could see

One must know the basement is not the truth

The basement is not the destination

Rather the labyrinthine of hardship

To the light of life

Tastes sweeter than any sugar

Poem#2- Where The Sea Meets The Sky

I love to swim

I wish to fly

I long to be where the sun meets the sky

Do you think the man on the moon has a pool

Or a hot tub because the moon is cool

I ponder him paying me a visit

When I ask, I won't be shy

I'd love to show everyone where the sun meets the sky

From feathers to scales

From aliens to whales

It may be impossible 

But I'll always try

I'll fight to be

Where the sun meets the sky

so, I think everything is pretty on the nose and basic, but I'd love some feedback anyways
