Primordial Engines

Everything — every system, belief, artifact, war, gesture — is generated by one of four primordial engines:

• Hunger (deficit projection)
  
  
• Splendor (self-exceeding accumulation)
  
  
• Distortion (prophylactic self-deception)
  
  
• Sacrifice (ritualized temporal binding)
  
  

No institution exists without these. Even “neutral” systems are glitches in these engines, momentarily stable but ultimately regressing into one.

Tactic: When diagnosing or influencing any situation, find which engine is dominant and which is repressed. True power lies in weaponizing the repressed engine
