I've always had an interest in empty spaces, and abandoned areas. Especially when it's an area you usually see a lot of people in. Around last summer, I snuck into my High School by jumping a gate. I then used that gate from the opposite side to bring my skateboard in with me. It was fun skating down the corridors and sidewalks. I realized that some construction was happening inside the library, and the workers that left had left the door unlocked.
^ Everything electronic was covered in clear tarp. Most likely to prevent dust and debris from above the tile ceiling falling on the electronics. There were plans written out on large blueprints that were laid out on the tables, but I'm not going to post those due to privacy reasons.
^ This area was once full of tables and chairs, where mostly class-skippers would hang out and pretend like they are reading, while hiding their phone behind a book. Now, it's just a small collection of tables, with wire hanging from the ceiling and the rest of the ceiling above exposed. Ugly, and dirty wires hung from above that travelled throughout the entire building.
^ Once again, everything electric was covered. All computers and printers were shut down, and I couldn't play CS 1.6 or FlashFlashRevolution from my little USB drive.
^ Understandably, they left all the chairs and desks unmoved. There is simply too many to bother moving. Also, where else are they going to set the plans?
^ Plenty of books to grab from the shelf, check out using the little slip on the back of the front cover, and completely forget to bring back, and find it months later in your bookbag or locker. They actually have some good books here though, don't get me wrong.
I finally have my driver's license. I'm rebuilding the carburetor on my Bronco so that I can daily it, reliably. Once that's ready, I plan on using my days off of work to explore abandoned locations I know from the top of my head around my town, in other cities, and post them here.
Thanks for reading. Have a nice life :)

There’s something strangely peaceful about abandoned places. Near where I live there’s an old abandoned building that I can get into through a window that was left open by whoever was last there. I often climb in through the window and just spend some time there enjoying the peace and quiet of getting away from everything for a while. I don’t even know why I like going there but I just do.
So true. You should do some research on the building to see it's history!

That would be very interesting to find out. I suspect that it was once a hotel because alot of the rooms are numbered and many of them contain old beds and other furniture. But,yes it would be interesting to find out more about it.
(Btw. Sent you a friend request).
