I think I finally understand that if I'm in a rut and not actively creating, I lose my mind.
Even something small like sewing a rip on a shirt or adding stickers to my notebook or creating a themed playlist. I have so many big ideas and it's hard to find the time to execute them, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't find the time to sprinkle in little creative moments throughout the week.
All I want is to create sometime and share it with people! It's such an amazing feeling. Whether it was giving tattoos, pinching little clay bowls and painting them, personalized art birthdays gifts, sharing a mix I made on soundcloud, giving out stickers I made, giving out shirts I stamped with a block print, sewing little stuffed creatures with fluff. All of these things seem small in my head in comparison to fine art, but I know I need to stop comparing myself to any fine artists! I'm a crafter and there's nothing wrong with that! It's more about making creating a habit.
The next crafty idea I have is to make zines! My work has a photo copier and I'm going to use the hell out it in secret! >:]
What have you all been working on?

Oh I adore zines, I think you'll find them incredibly fun to make! I could talk all day about the different kinds of zines and all the possibilities this medium brings... Please post your zine when you've finished it!
