HEyyyy I might make some people beyond furious with this post, but I've just tried watching The Hobbit trilogy for the first time in my life. I was recommended I watch that before LOTR and so far I've gotten through a movie and a half (barely) and cannot bear to continue watching!!
Does anyone else also absolutely despise them, and are the LOTR movies any better or should I just give up with them as well if I didn't like The Hobbit???

hobbit trilogy is ok but not nearly as good as lotr imo. you dont have to watch the hobbit to understand lotr or vice versa
