BBC Ghosts

I rewatched the first episode of BBC Ghosts yesterday. It made me laugh so hard even though I knew the jokes already. I really love this show! I'm making this entry just to gush about it a little :)

I don't even remember how I came upon the show in the first place, actually. I think I might have just randomly switched it on to have something on the TV.

The premise of the show itself is already really funny! For those who have not seen this version, it follows a couple moving into an old mansion. Only one of the two can see the ghosts of (some of) the people who have died there. All of the ghosts lived in different time periods, which makes for very funny interactions and joke opportunities.

Something I thought about while rewatching the first episode is that it's funny how even after living together for centuries, the ghosts are constantly bickering. It feels like a very human outcome of the situation they're in.

My favourites are easily Kitty and Captain. Kitty for her naivete and Captain for his relatability.

I hope this blog, however unlikely, reaches some other fans of the show. None of my friends have seen it! :,)
