I'm actually writing this again cause my idiot ass closed the tab i was writing on instead of the youtube one
hi y'all i never write on my blog except my monthly entries so heres something different for once
I don't really know how to introduce this? It's just my games and what I think of them :] All of them are preowned (except Miitopia) because when they were released i barely knew how to read 🎀 Also all scans were made by me!
1) Pokémon Black Version
My uncle got it for me for Christmas 2024! I might be a little biased when I talk about this game, but PKMNBW is a very special game to me. From the characters, to the story, and to the in-game locations, this game tugs at my heartstrings every time I think about it. If I could play it again for the first time, I totally would.
2) Rhythm Paradise (AKA Rhythm Heaven in the US and Rhythm Tengoku Gold in Japan)
I got this around February this year, and honestly it's a great game! I really love the characters and the music. If you're wondering why there's two more pictures of the game cover, that is because when I got it, it came with this sort of wrapper (?) that you can slide off. It's a pretty nice touch. Also I think the woman on the wrapper is Beyoncé? She did a promo for this game, so I'm assuming it's her. I suck at recognizing celebrities.
3) Tamagotchi Corner Shop 3
I don't play this game as much as I used to, but it's still a very cute game. Maybe it starts getting repetitive after a while, but it's the only game I had back in 2018, when I got my 2DS. My uncle got me this one too!
4) Art Academy
Got this during a trip to Sicily with my family along with Tetris. I don't really play it anymore, but when I do, I manage to make the most horrible drawings on it LMAO
5) Learn With Pokémon: Typing Adventure
Got this for my 18th birthday! Thank you jack :] So far the game is fun (though I don't really need to learn to type on a keyboard) but the keyboard that comes with it keeps disconnecting when I play so it's a little annoying. Will it help me with my dyslexia? Probably. I was convinced for quite some time that Sewaddle was spelled Seawaddle.
6) Miitopia
My very first RPG. I don't remember the year I got it, but it was either Christmas 2018 or 2019. I remember that the first time I played it I set my mom as the Dark Lord (you could say i was a very funny kid) (i had no friends) Right now my sister is borrowing it but she never plays it and I don't know what I will do if she never gives it back :(
7) Tetris
The game I got during the trip with my family to Sicily along with Art Academy. Nothing much to say, but this game saved me most times when I was bored. Sometimes I think about that Japanese player I once played with online that absolutely destroyed me.

8) Pokémon HeartGold
My uncle (once again) got me this for my 18th birthday too! I haven't played it yet, but I know that this game has been loved. Unfortunately though, I don't have a Pokéwalker for this ;w; I hope I can get one soon!
9) Pokémon X
Jack got me this for my 18th birthday too. (thanks) The previous owner had 190+ gameplay hours and had a lot of Torchic eggs. I suppose they were shiny hunting that mon :]

don't know fantasy life but ofc I played Tomodachi life lmao it came preinstalled on my 3DS it's not on this blog entry tho cause it's the digital game and not the physical one

highly recommend fantasy life +they have a new game that just came out!

If you can get a DSi, maybe you can mod it and get DSiWare! There are a bunch of good apps/games for it :D

woah what the SWAG i also have that tamagotchi game and miitopia! im curious as to why ur still getting DS games physically instead of modding ur 3ds and directly getting the roms. is it for the look of the boxes? the fun of the hunt? the nostalgia? idk if the fear of bricking would be reasonable cuz the 3ds is rly easy to mod now lol (i’ve literally been hesitant for YEARS because i didn’t want to brick my baby only to find out that it’s super easy to mod it… no regrets 10/10)
it's not really about being scared of modding my 3DS lmao (it's already modded) but it's more about the feeling of having a **physical** collection for me :] i do have the roms of the games i like (hell, i played pokemon black and black2 twice on a rom) i think at this point it's more of a "ritual" of reverence towards my favourite games lmao (then there's the whole piracy discourse behind it too but that's a longer thing to explain imo)

Sometimes I forget I have my 3ds still laying around.. but I also forget that I modded it so every time I turn it on I see homebrew-
But dudeee, I remember getting pokemon Y for the first time, not finishing it but came back and finished it a few years later-
Another thing, I gotta somehow get my old 3ds XL repaired cuz its looking a bit busted-
The top screen has a bit of scratching and the bottom screen has bad scratching while the right hinge holder thingie is kinda gone and uhhh.. yeah the top half of the 3DS XL is wobbly as all hell-
