Animation memes walked so Gacha could run

So I've been on a nostalgia trip lately, and one of the biggest pieces of my childhood is animation memes. I've been obsessed with them since I was like 7, I think. My start on how I started to animate (and a furry).

But I can't just look up "animation memes" on YouTube anymore without Gacha memes getting in my face. Now don't get me wrong, I also use Gacha, mainly for character design, BUT I wanna look for animation memes I used to watch when I was younger, but can't go a second without Gacha in my face. I'm not mad about it just annoyed because this is my point.

i came across a tiktok the other day, it's like one of those "only [incert fandom] people can do this trend" and it was the song Clarity by Zedd, and I got just... a little pissed cause like, the original meme came out before Gacha got popular for animation memes. The original by (omg) OwONekko (THEY MADE THIS?? anyways), posted June 13, 2017, and basically became the pillar of the animation meme community. THEN, the meme by Bekka Gacha, was posted in 2019, it just became more popular because I do remember, gacha was the punching bag of the internet, and gacha cringe was like the funniest shit on youtube. but I'm just very confused on how I'm being catorgorized as a gacha kid by the dumbass algorithm when these songs got popular BECAUSE of animation memes................soooooooooooooooo yk

Also, I've seen another one with the Grrrls meme, when I know for a fact that the animation meme was a lot more popular than the gacha ones. However, there were old gacha kids in the comments who claimed it was a gacha song.??? Though again, I can't be getting made over something this stupid on the internet, cause it's the internet, and I lowkey feel so old comparing animation memes. brings me back to when people would fight about these memes and who made what original. But I kinda have a silent dislike for Gacha, mainly because I hate my own gacha past, but like...............
