I bought this tiny leather book today containing a short poetic tale about a sailor named Enoch Arden being lost at sea and his poor, mournful wife. it was a fun, simple read and I liked the story. the book contains some other poems and they're all sea themed as well, written by Alfred Lord Tennyson. since the books about the size of some playing cards I'll probably just keep it in my bag to have something to read when I'm bored. I'm definitely going to go back to the used book store I bought it from because they had some more tiny leather-bound tales, including a collection of random essays and A Christmas Carol. I specifically love poetry though which is why I bought this one today. honestly, its been a while since I have really sat down and read some poetry and I regret that, so it felt good getting lost in a poem today.
