I HAVE ADVICE AND ALSO BRING BACK PASSION

WHATUP so I'm just gonna go on a tangent about the stuff that have been on my mind, but I do have advice and opinions if you came for that. Here's the photo for this blog also :p

BRING BACK PASSION

Okay, so I have certain interests that stick to me, and these interests make me happy, so I actually bother to learn new things about them and enjoy my interests despite what others may think. I know the way I word this sounds kinda conceited and like 'I'm-better-than-you,' but that's not my goal. I'm setting up context for my rant. There are many people who just... don't have interests. Like, they have nothing they like learning about, or doing, they just don't have them. Like I swear those people don't exist, but you'd be surprised. It's not as bad when they're just interested in what's currently trending, but it's still pretty bad in that case- cause after what's popular is stripped away from them, they have nothing that THEY really like. 

But you know what's worse than a person with zero interests? A PERSON WHO FAKES THEIR INTERESTS.

I'm going to call back to something I've bitched about repetitively for an EXTREMELY long time, and we're gonna talk about people who say they like something, or put themselves under a subculture, but don't bother to put effort into those interests. For example, I'm really interested in music, so I actually bother to learn more artists to see what I like, and listen to as much of the artists I like as I can. Right now, I've started getting into Alesana, but I still don't know a lot of their music, so I'm not gonna call myself 'Alesana's number one fan' when I can only name like five songs, but I'm working on getting into the music. Hell, I listened to Pierce the Veil's entire discography before buying tickets to see them. It pisses me off when someone does something like (example) say they're emo, and then not bother to follow the values of the emos [which is literally just don't be a fascist???] and not listen to the music other than like MCR or something. [THE MUSIC IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART. Also no hate to MCR at all] Like emos are supposed to be emo.

Also i h8 people who try to be nonchalant, and people who make fun of people who are just having fun, and people who think everything is embarrassing or 'cringe.' 

YOU ARE BORING.

WHERE IS YOUR PASSION.

WHERE IS YOUR DRIVE.

WHERE IS YOUR ZEST.

YOU STINK.

Okay, I've lost passion for this rant cause I rant about this same thing like daily, you get my point (I hope).

Also off-topic but WHOEVER'S IDEA IT WAS TO TIKTOK-IFY A DANCE GAVIN DANCE SONG IS GOING INNA BLENDER.

MY ADVICE

DO NOT BE BOTHERED BY THE OPINIONS OF PEOPLE WHOSE OPINIONS YOU DONT LIKE. Let's say you have good music taste to you, you dress a way that you like, and you think you're quite funny. Why would it matter if someone who listens to bad music says anything about your music taste? Their opinion is different than yours, that doesn't mean they're right. Believing someone who has bad taste's opinion on you is like being a straight-A student and letting a kid with a 0.01 GPA tell you you're academically dumb. I once read a book that said something along the lines of "if you're walking down the street wearing a green shirt, and someone says 'i hate your purple shirt,' you're not gonna get offended, because you're not wearing a purple shirt. Like this weekend, this girl I went to middle school with whining on my social media cause all I talk about is emo music and Sonic, and I need to get a job. I have a job, so I'm not gonna get pissed cause she told me to get a job (I asked her and she does not have a job BTW). I like Sonic games and comics, they're entertaining, so I learn about Sonic, I'm not gonna get pissed cause she said I like my interests. (Another point- if someone says something FACTUALLY AND NOT OBJECTIVELLY true about you, you shouldn't get pissed, cause it's just the truth. Just like if someone says something you know is untrue, don't get pissed, cause you know it's a lie) and she got mad cause I'll talk to her about mostly Pierce the Veil and Dance Gavin Dance. Her top artists on statsforspotify are 6arelyhuman and Melanie Martinez. In my opinion, those artists don't make good music. I like PTV and DGD much more than 6arely and Melanie, so why would I care about what she thinks about my music?

Idk if that made sense.
