Missed the last few days but didn't forget about this, I just don't have them pre-planned so I don't schedule them or anything and if I get busy with life/work and/or fall asleep early, I unfortunately just miss posting that day.

Where would I possibly find enough leather
With which to cover the surface of the earth?
But (wearing) leather on just the soles of my shoes
Is equivalent to covering the earth with it.

To restrain the external course of things;
But should I restrain this mind of mine

If the first part seems familiar to you even if you haven't read this before, the Bluey episode "Unicorse" tells it as a fairy tale! Chapter 5 is "Guarding Alertness," using metaphors and parables to expound on the merits of controlling your thoughts and feelings and the perils of failing to do so. It's easy to "be in the moment" as we meditate but the true treasures come from living it every moment.
