within the city of golden dreams

I try to sleep, but yet you still haunt my dreams every night. I don't think you've ever left my mind for the past 5 years, you keep me alive through the tears. console me through my fears, endearing me with your trusting words. your eyes lusting in hers. your hips thrusting like you don't know a thing about the birds and the bees. it's not a real story, just give me the love I deserve. I wanna love you my whole life, and I'm afraid that promise will ring true, the day I get married i wouldn't be happy unless its you. I've carried this burden upon me that has warped my entire soul completely, entirely endowed to you. you never owed me anything. nobody believes your worth it. but I can never let you go. I gave up on the idea a long time ago, but your still my heart. I don't want to be apart and you give me no choice. whether it be unrequited, I just want to hear your voice. I see your golden face in a blurred vision, of my subconscious. green gorgeous eyes, never leave my side. I never had you within my grasp, but your gaze lingered on. your all I ever wanted to last. no more than a moment from my past. you are all I ever wanted and I can't go to bed when your on my mind. I talk about you to myself all the time. something has always told me, there was no one else for me. and I understood silently. that if you couldn't love me, no one could. because your the only one I ever wanted and would. you have a gentle heart and I can feel it in your presence, a warming smile that stays for a little while. I wanna be the breath that you inhale, I wanna be the freckles on your pale skin. I wanna be the blood running through your veins, I wanna be the air inside your lungs. I want to relieve your pains. I want to hold you close and hear your heartbeat. I want to be alive and with you, not just living without you. I want you to be mine. my love for you after all this time never grew dull, it stood stronger than a raging bull. my love continues to grow everyday, and I love you my dear in every single way.
