I HATE SEWING(I acc love it </3)

A couple years ago I got a sewing machine for my birthday, but I haven't started using it until now. I only use it for altering my clothes, but I tried "creating something" the other day, and let me tell you, IT WAS HELL. I passed all afternoon trying to do a little cute cat keychain and the only thing I made was a Chernobyl experiment. AND IT DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A HEAD. I think it was because the plushie was too tiny, and the fabric was too sh1tty because it was from one of those cheap "Fairycore" skirts from Aliexpress that were super popular in 2021. Anyways if someone does know sewing I'd love some tips because I got pretty stressed (I know it sounds super narcissist, but I'm not used to things going wrong for me (╥_╥)). I'd actually love to make my own clothes, cause I like to draw and it'd be so fun wearing the clothes of my ocs.
