Soul gems and grief seeds!🌹(my tumblr repost)

What is is a soul gem?

A soul gem is the vessel of a puella magi's soul. It is also what we puella magi derive our powers from. A soul gem is given after forming a contract with Kyubey or something similar. Your soul his taken and held inside the soul gem. The 100 meter rule also is very important to a puella magi and there soul gem(given you haven't scripted it out of course).

Pollution of soul gem?

When using powers, experiencing despair, ect, your soul gem will become polluted in result. The more pollution the weaker the puella magi will become. I've heard you can feel mental or physical symptoms from pollution. It's best to keep your soul gem as clean as possible. A grief seed is needed to cleanse your soul gem.

What is a grief seed?

A grief seed also sometimes called a witches egg is something left behind after killing a witch. I've already covered witches before. These can come into existence if you neglect your soul gem and allow it to become polluted. They can be referred to as witches eggs due to the fact if left alone for long enough it will hatch and become a witch.

Disposal of grief seeds?

As I mentioned they are used to cleanse a soul gem. It is recommended to have the soul gem consumed by and incubator or familiar so In my case I whould give them to Kyubey.
