I still remember when you arrived, falling off your horse, smiling like a fool.
Crooked teeth, white teeth.
Polishing your armor, scratched from birth.
Your fingers began to bleed.
I healed them, I taught you.
And your noisy steps followed me.
And your eyes, small, slanted, analyzing, were on me.
Words dripping with venom when your expectations are not met.
You are disgusted by me, even when you are by my side.
Heavy armor, I make you sick, I infect you, you inflame.
You gave me a medicine, I never opened it.
Head held high, looking down.
The greeting died in your mouth, your loving disgust reproaches you.
