That kick to the gut was the last blow i could handle. At first i felt like i could just brush off the hit, but then my legs started to tremble, and that piercing feeling, that you usually feel on lighter strikes, grew like a slash in my stomach. even if i couldn't see much from just looking at my abdomen i knew something got damaged inside of me.
It was the sight of his red hat as i looked back up, conversely, that made me find the strenght, in fear, to run away.
Shame, to have lost a fight i've started, filled my bloodstream, as my mind cycled through possibility to get help. The guy and his brother aren't the litigious type, i know that much, so i knew they wouldn't seek to whoop my ass down the line, so i couldn't just ask my friend to help me beat up two randos. But they made me mad that's for sure, and i wouldn't catch myself loosing.
I just got to Tails' in the end, his lab was a good enough hospital, and i told him i fell while trying a new PB on a racetrack. I hate lying to him, but i didn't want to get a lewcture.
That night i was laying in bed, letting watever sci-fi cast Tails' mind brewd up do it's thing, as a shadowy figure, emerged, with venom in his voice.
"You need to stop getting into fights, you're lucky i catched the two before they went out of their way to get someone involved"
"so you, beat them up? way to go bud-"
"For goodness sake i'm not your babysitter Sonic. If you think they wouldn't want to settle that you'd be an idiot. i still don't understand how you got them to hate you so much.

They're nice guys damn it, but apparently not nice enough to overcome your power to piss off people.
They told me they want to fight you again, and that if you loose to leave them alone.
They also told me that you can ask for someone's help, since they're two and you're just one"
"So, that's it, we'll juust beat their asses toghether, Sonic and Shadow, dream team of green hills"
Silence fell, broken by my friend's venom, as my mind realized
"I'm not going to help you.
Matter of fact, i'd join the two if it wasn't a waste of my time.
When the two of them will inesorably beat your ass to dust, i will gladly help yourself back up, but as it stands, i just want you to learn your lesson, so maybe you'll stop being such an idiot.
Besides, it wouldn't be that interesting of a fight. I'm the ultimate life form, those two wouldn't last a second against me. You made your bed, now lie in it"
