From fire and stone, we bent the world with will,
Yet sought a force to shake the heavens wide.
We split the core, unchained the stars, and still,
Knew not the price that burned so deep inside.
A flash of light, a shadow scorched in place,
The sky ignites, the earth itself cries out.
In ash and ruin, death unveils its face,
A silent witness wrapped in heat and doubt.
Yet with this spark, we light both war and peace,
The hand that kills now powers home and street.
The atom’s gift—destruction shall not cease,
Yet life itself still thrives upon its heat.
Between the light and fire stands mankind,
A trembling hand, a dark and fragile mind.
